Climbing
For the more daring climbers, but also for anyone, even families and kids, Garda Trentino offers more than 1000 different trails for sports climbing. The Autonomous Province of Trento and local authorities have had over 500 bolted climbing routes fitted out and these are subject to periodic controls to ensure absolute safety. Not only Arco, the internationally- famed fatherland of this sport, but also Nago, Torbole sul Garda, Dro, Drena and Riva del Garda offer to all sportfans not only breathtaking climbing choises on good rock, but also a great variety of via ferratas.
Canyoning
If so, Garda Trentino is perfect for you: throw yourself headfirst into the torrents which descend from the mountains towards the lake. Do it, but together with a guide from the canyoning centres, which organize daily trips during the nice season. The routes are only known to few people because the guides are possessive over them! Put on a wetsuit, a helmet and a harness, and brave the fast Trentino torrents which are immersed within the woods, flowing between rocks to meet small lakes unknown even to those who live here.

Winter time
MTBs and racing bikes, along enthralling itineraries with lake views; trekking, Nordic walking and climbing, along breathtaking footpaths and natural cliffs; Alpine skiing and trips on snowshoes along snow-kissed paths around Mount Stivo or nearby Mount Baldo. Even in winter, thanks to its mild climate, Garda Trentino is a charming outdoor training ground. And for ski lovers, the cable car that takes you straight to the Mount Baldo slopes is just 15 minutes away. The most famous ski resorts of Trentino are rather close: Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo (65 kg), Andalo and Fai della Paganello (45 km), Monte Bondone (35 km).
